2025.06.09千葉キャンパス・パラスポーツサポート部の学生が、千葉開府まつり2025でソフトパラフェンシング体験ブースを運営しました。

6月1日（土）パラスポーツサポート部の学生8名が千葉開府まつり2025で日本ソフトパラフェンシング協会スタッフとして体験ブースを運営しました。このイベントは2026年に千葉開府900年を迎えるにあたり、千葉市が6月1日を「千葉開府の日」とし、理解促進に資するイベントとして開催されたものです。

日本ソフトパラフェンシング協会会長でパラサポ部顧問の健康医療スポーツ学部 医療スポーツ学科 馬場 宏輝 教授（体育・スポーツ経営学）は「今年は千葉中央公園に会場を変更したことで昨年より多くの方々に競技体験をしていただきました。学生も協会スタッフとして活躍してくれました。千葉発祥のソフトパラフェンシングが千葉開府900年に少しでも貢献できて良かったです。」と述べています。

Students from the Chiba Campus Para-Sports Support Club operated a soft para-fencing experience booth at the Chiba Kaifu Festival 2025.

On Saturday, June 1, eight students from the Para-Sports Support Club operated a soft para-fencing experience booth as staff members of the Japan Soft Para-Fencing Association at the Chiba Kaifu Festival 2025.

This event was held by Chiba City in celebration of the upcoming 900th anniversary of the founding of Chiba in 2026. June 1 has been designated as “Chiba Kaifu Day,” and the festival aimed to promote public awareness and understanding.

Professor Hiroki Baba, Chair of the Japan Soft Para-Fencing Association and advisor to the Para-Sports Support Club, from the Department of Medical Sports, Faculty of Health Care and Medical Sports, stated:
"This year, by moving the venue to Chiba Chuo Park, more people had the opportunity to experience the sport compared to last year. The students also played an active role as association staff. I’m glad that soft para-fencing, which originated in Chiba, could contribute in some way to the 900th anniversary of the city."
