2025.06.28本学学生が「FULLCONTACT KARATE EXPO 2025」に出場し、一般男子軽中量級3位になりました。

健康医療スポーツ学部 医療スポーツ学科 トレーナー・スポーツコース 田中 勇利さん（4年）が5月31日（土）・6月1日（日）に行われた「FULLCONTACT KARATE EXPO 2025」において開催された第2回 国際フルコンタクト空手道選手権大会に参加し、一般男子軽中量級3位になりました。

「FULLCONTACT KARATE EXPO 2025」は、「第1回 全世界フルコンタクト空手道選手権大会(以下、WFKO全世界)」「第2回 国際フルコンタクト空手道選手権大会(以下、JFKO国際)」「第1回 国際シニアフルコンタクト空手道選手権大会(以下、JFKO国際シニア)」の3団体の共催開催となります。

田中さんが参加された「第2回 国際フルコンタクト空手道選手権大会(以下、JFKO国際)」は国内外の広く門戸が開かれた大会であり、いろいろな大会でタイトルを獲得した選手が集まる大会となっています。

以下、田中 勇利さんのコメントです。

「このJFKOという大会は、出場選手のほぼ全員が何かしらのタイトルを獲得している空手家が集まる大会です。その中でも、出場者数最多の階級で入賞できたのは、本当に自信に繋がりました。今回、この試合のために、多くの時間を練習に費やしました。支えてくれる周りの全ての方々に、この場を借りて感謝したいと思います。次はプロキックボクシングの試合を控えているので、そちらに向けても邁進していきたいと思います。」

 

 

A student from our university competed in the “FULLCONTACT KARATE EXPO 2025” and placed 3rd in the General Men’s Lightweight-Middleweight Division.

Yuri Tanaka (4th year), a student in the Trainer and Sports Course of the Department of Medical Sports, Faculty of Health Care and Medical Sports participated in the “FULLCONTACT KARATE EXPO 2025” held on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, and placed 3rd in the General Men’s Lightweight-Middleweight Division at the 2nd International Fullcontact Karate Championship.

The “FULLCONTACT KARATE EXPO 2025” is co-hosted by three organizations:

The 1st World Fullcontact Karate Championship (WFKO World)

The 2nd International Fullcontact Karate Championship (JFKO International)

The 1st International Senior Fullcontact Karate Championship (JFKO International Senior)

The “2nd International Fullcontact Karate Championship (JFKO International),” in which Tanaka participated, is a widely open tournament both domestically and internationally, attracting top athletes who have won titles at various other competitions.

Below is a comment from Yuri Tanaka:

“This JFKO tournament gathers karate practitioners who have almost all won some kind of title. Being able to place in the most competitive weight class among the highest number of participants truly boosted my confidence. I dedicated a lot of time to training for this match. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported me. My next challenge is a professional kickboxing match, and I also intend to give it my all.”
